Instead of leading a free group AND a paid group, you have one group with two or more tiers of benefits. You’ll have the added investment of creating the premium content but you won’t have the additional overhead of managing a second community or hiring help to manage the community for you.

You need a clear line between what is free and what comes with the fee, and there should be a big enough gap between the two to justify the added investment.
